BUGS & KISSES DIY VALENTINES PRINTABLE

Raise your hand if your a last-minute-mama like meeee!? HA!

I thought I would share this cute “Bugs & Kisses” printable that I designed for Bodhi’s school valentines.

We paired it with homemade play dough, silicon bug molds, and some little gem pieces. It came out super cute and I know his friends are going to love it! You can of course buy mini play doughs at the store BUT making it is half the fun!

Here’s the recipe we used along with the fun tip from @ashchaber on how to color your play dough with markers! It worked womderfully!

1 1/2 cup flour

1/4 salt

1 tbsp cream of tartar

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp vegetable oil

3/4 cup boiling water

Simply mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl than add in the wet and combine with a spatula. Once combined, split into smaller pieces and draw gently on the dough with crayola marker. Mix again in hands to spread the color. Voila!

I ordered our silicone bug molds from Amazon and paired them with a few gem pieces because were extra over here 😉.

I wrapped the dough in plastic wrap and then packaged it all in a zip lock baggy so the kids can carry it home easily. You can use glass jars too - the target dollar section had small 3/$3 one last time I checked.

This would also be super fun activity to do with just your kids on Valentines Day or really ANY day!

Enjoy!
